  • Amazing zoom
    written on 26/11/2013
I already had a reflex 7d with 70-200 2,8 and 300, then I also took the SX40 compact and I was very satisfied. I have now taken the SX50, attracted by its scary zoom and, although I was a little worried about some opinions not too positive, at the end I have been pleasantly surprised!
It is significantly improved compared to the SX40, mainly as image stabilization, but the best results comes when it stays on a tripod...maintaining a great quality' up to 50x optical zoom.
    Amazing!!!

HS System, 12.1 MP with DIGIC 5: A powerful combination of the DIGIC 5 image processor and 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor high sensitivity HS System allows shooting with low noise and high image quality even in low light, without flash or tripod.

Development of Full HD video projects

Record stunning Full HD (1080p) at 24 fps with stereo sound. Improved Dynamic IS compensates for the rocking motion and the usual vibration camera for video stable. The HDMI connection allows playback of high quality without loss in a compatible HDTV.

Zoom Framing Assist improved

The Zoom Framing Assist facilitates improved monitoring of subjects in remote locations with full zoom. When you press the lock button, the optical Image Stabilizer keeps your subject static while using the full zoom. The search button camera quickly pulls the scene to locate the subject again, and once again bring when you release the button.
