Lenovo's Android smartphones are known for their reliability, simplicity, and exceptional batteries. The A390 is a perfect example of Lenovo's reliable and simple products. This device is far from premium since it is part of their budget line of devices, but it is perfect for those looking for smartphone basics such as web browsing, mobile emails, social networking, video streaming and listening to music, and of course, taking photos. The phone has enough processing power and RAM capacity to deliver a smooth experience to any user.

The Lenovo A390: Practical and Reliable

This super affordable mobile device is part of the PC leader's A series of entry-level, low-cost, devices directly aimed at competing with similar devices from the likes of Nokia and Acer. Like all the other products in its line, this handset is well-rounded, sturdy, and can satisfy the needs of most users and not just first time smart mobile gadget users. It allows you to do more for less thanks to its comprehensive feature sets and dual SIM configuration. Its 4 inch display, though no HD; is clear enough to let you enjoy a good video streaming and gaming experience. You will not find a camera for selfies in this unit, but its main camera more than makes up for that. The specifications may not be breathtaking, but for a budget phone, they are more than acceptable.

Budget but Productive

There's a stereotype about budget phones, they are often thought of as cheap, disposable, and crappy. However, this particular product defies all that and more. It may not have a quad-core processor at its heart, but it was designed to make sure that it functions well and utilizes its processing power efficiently allowing it to deliver a performance equal to most mid-ranged devices. Durability is another strong point of the handset as it comes in a plastic, yet very sturdy chassis. It has the ability to withstand the elements sans IP ratings. It also runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich which means that you will have an easy time multitasking, customizing your home screen, resizing widgets, viewing notifications, using productivity applications, and engaging in other interactive activities. The latest version is Android Lolipop 5.0 and its the one that all the recent iterations of mobile devices like Sony smartphones and the like are running on. Lenovo is keeping the pace on the software front.

Designed to reach out to emerging economies, this mobile communication device comes with the now mandatory dual SIM. It will let you separate work and your personal life or simply take advantage of cheaper texting and free calls. Never miss a call thanks to its standby function which lets you receive calls on both SIM at the same time. You'll hear a notification beep whenever there is an incoming call so you can put the other person on hold while taking the incoming call. This handset may not be rich on advanced features but it has enough practical capabilities to make up for its shortcomings.

Instant HotSpot and Pre-installed Apps

Not all low-priced cell phones offer tethering, but this one has it and does it really well. Its battery is loaded enough to keep it running for days on a single charge while using 3G and while tethering. No need to go to a coffee shop offering free WiFi as you can easily connect your tablet or laptop to the internet while on the go using your mobile phone. You can also access in-phone applications such as Accuweather, Evernote, Facebook, Cloud Storage (Did we mention that you get free cloud storage when you buy this device?), Norton, Mobile Security, Skype, Twitter, UC Browser, Gmail, and many more. Since it has expandable memory, you also have the option of storing several gigabytes of MP3 and other music format. It's not just a communication device, it's also a sturdy and very affordable media player and mobile entertainment center.
