The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has already been on sale in Japan for a few weeks, but for South East Asia it will be from the beginning of May 2013.
The tablet is running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which isn't quite bang up to the minute, but Sony has promised to update it to the 4.2 version. The Tablet Z has a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor running at 1.5GHz along with 2GB RAM.

Sony claims the Xperia Tablet Z to be the thinnest and lightest 10-inch tablet with being only 6.9 mm thick and weighing under 500 grams. The glass-panelled front has a seamless surface and enhanced reflective coating. Moreover, Sony makes sure that the new Xperia Tablet Z can resist water and dust. It can stand 30 minutes under water.
Stunning HD camera
Sony has put in an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. The rear camera features an Exmor R sensor which is also used in their digital cameras to reduce noise in low lighting conditions. So the camera will still deliver high quality photos and HD videos even in a room with low light.
