Each brings a new style of play for you to experiment with: fight at a distance, wield magic, set traps and more. Customise Your Character In Battleborn your characters earn experience and level up. Each character begins at level 1 and can go all the way to 10, gradually unlocking new skills and skins as they go. As a player you also level up and gain new titles to show off to your friends. Play Solo or With Friends Play on or offline with friends in Battleborn's story and competitive modes. Battleborn can either be played on your own or cooperatively both splitscreen and online. Story mode offers mission-based gameplay while online provides a range of competitive experiences. Team-Based Combat As an individual you're powerful, but only as a team can you emerge victorious in Battleborn. Fight alongside AI or human players and overcome your foes as a group. As a team you can overcome each character's strengths and weaknesses.
